Louise Hankin
Director – Communications & Impact

My background

I have worked in marketing & communications for over 20 years, with a background in brand management and marketing communications for some of the world’s largest FMCG multinationals. More recently I have enjoyed working with start-ups and SMEs alongside delivering communications projects for global organisations. As an Impact & Sustainability consultant, I am passionate about helping businesses of all sizes to define and embed sustainability within their business strategy to improve their impact for people and planet.

What I enjoy most about my work

I love working alongside clients as a partner to guide their strategic decisions around communications or sustainability and deliver as a team. The power of strong personal relationships to drive results in a positive way is a huge part of working effectively as a consultant.

Some of the companies I have worked with

Unilever, L’Oreal, Coty, The Body Shop, Boots, AstraZeneca

My hope for the future

I truly believe in the power of business to do good. Through driving innovation, making the right choices and committing to change, businesses can propel us forward as a society to work more closely in harmony with nature and our planet and reduce the impact we have. My hope is for a future where impact is measured and prioritised alongside profit and inherently considered within a company’s strategic focus and vision.

What I love about AG Comms

The team at AG Comms is such a dynamic, talented and supportive group of people, we work mostly virtually but are always so energised and inspired when we can meet up and collaborate in person too. The unique working model means we can offer our clients real expertise in an adaptable and flexible way, drawing on experience from across the team, whilst also giving us the opportunity to balance work and life and explore the hobbies and passions that bring us joy.

How does working for AG Comms support you?

The flexible working model empowers me to be able to balance work with busy family life as a mum of three young daughters and one fur baby! Taking time out to be able to exercise, connect with nature on a long walk, write or just enjoy time with family and friends is so important for my own wellbeing. Working on stimulating and fulfilling projects whilst also being able to have flexibility with my own time has been life-changing to me and I’m so thankful to have become a part of the team.
