Doing the right thing

One of the things we love most about being a 1% for the Planet member, is the opportunity to create a personalised giving strategy and support the environmental causes that matter most to us.

From the beginning we wanted everyone in our business to have a say in how we drive our purpose forward. So when it came to choosing non-profits to include in our giving strategy, we involved everyone in the voting process. Not just our employees, but our supply chain too.

We shared several options in our all-team Huddle, and gave everyone a week to vote for their first and second choice non-profits. The results were unanimous! We chose to support Power for People and Rewilding Britain with our 1% giving donation.

Every brilliant individual that works with us impacts our performance and co-creates our culture, regardless of whether they are an employee or part of our supply chain. And that’s why we included everyone in this process. It was the right thing to do for our business, our people and our planet.
